Business cards. Are they really still a thing?
Well, yes. We think they are and so do a lot of our clients. But why, when everything is pretty much online?
Call us old-fashioned, but we think a beautifully designed, subtle, on brand, tactile (because we think about what they will be printed on, the feel, the finish…) card, is often the way to start a meaningful relationship with a client or a customer.
Give someone your phone number and they’ll just store it in their phone, probably never knowing who it is, or why they have it.
But give them your card, and watch what they do.

They’ll pay attention to it – because you have given them something tangible. They will read it. They will see your branding, your logo, your colours, your name – and all of these things will be associated with you. They will touch it, feel it, turn it over. Perhaps put it way safely, to be looked at again.
Unlike a mobile number, stored in a phone. Never even really looked at.
So, yes, perhaps for some people, business cards are just unnecessary. But if you’re like us, and you love real, tangible connections, they are a fabulous way of beginning meaningful connections.
Don’t dismiss these little visual props. They could be worth their weight in the proverbial gold to you & your business.
